Halibut are fished off the bottom, usually between 40 and 250 feet of water. The daily limit is 2 per fisherman. You may catch more, but you can only take two home. Keeping your hook baited and down fishing at all times is my top priority, so you're ready to take on that big bite when it hits! King Salmon and Silver Salmon are fished by trolling with downriggers, using artificial tackle and/or bait. Watching the rod tip suddenly bend, and seeing a silvery splash as these fighters break the water, is a magnificent thrill, topped off by the big moment when your salmon is netted and brought aboard!
