Memories of a lifetime swim beneath the surface of clear ocean waters, waiting to be caught by those fishing on the Halibut Hunter, moored in Homer, Alaska. Homer, famously known as the "Halibut Fishing Capital of the World", is situated at the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula, bordered by spectacular glacier views of the Harding Ice Field, and the beautiful blue waters of Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. Easily accessible via highway or air, Homer, Alaska is truly a sport fishing mecca. Captain Tom's fishing trips start from Slip N-36 in the Small Boat Harbor and run daily mid-May through mid-October. |

United States Coast Guard licensed and insured since 1996, Captain Tom provides more than 20 years of experience guiding fishermen in the coastal waters of Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. Skilled in the use of navigation electronics, GPS, Radar, and Marine Radio, he knows how to find the fish! The Halibut Hunter is a 6 passenger, 28' Glasply deluxe heated cabin cruiser with
private restroom and full navigation electronics on board. Powered by EFI 350 hp twin engines, the ride
to the fishing grounds is safe, fast, and comfortable.

What To Bring On Board - Alaska fishing license: Required by Dept. of Fish & Game, additional stamp if fishing for King Salmon. Lunch and drinks: Plenty of storage space on board. Warm clothes: "Layering" works well. (Hauling in a big halibut will heat you up in a hurry.) |
